Ok, This will be an unpopular opinion on this property, as it receives an insane amount of “instagram” popularity… and that isn’t real life.
We did love the views… The food was good (but slow), the rooms are amazing, and with that catamaran ride in, everything on the surface is looking great, but with the price tag on this property, there needs to be more!!
The beach is essentially man made with a barrier that is trying to hold the sand in and a huge eye sore, very limited seating (even at 65% capacity), the dock has additional seats, which also are all taken very early. The water slide was fun for one ride, which seems to be all anyone uses, when it was being used.
The resort is built up into the cliff, making the stairs essential for navigation, and really limits the ability to have great seating options. The lower pool was over filled with guests trying to find a seat, slow to get any service, but the setting was nice. The roof top pool, hits a lot of check boxes but was almost unbearably loud with a DJ, and filled with day pass guests (noted with wristbands), who are taking full advantage of their time at the All Inclusive.
Honestly, we were super glad we experienced the property, and it is popular… And that’s good, but personally we would never consider paying the premium for this property for the great view and room. It may appeal to you but be aware of the limitations that people tend to not share on Instagram after paying that premium!!
