This family friendly music themed resort is an excellent option for those looking for a little theme in their stay. We found this resort to be heavily influenced and catered to the US clientele, which is a downfall for us.
They offer some great food, even the buffet offers some great options, with the first come first serve mode for a la cartel, which is a huge perk for us. We are easy going and never like to be tethered to a schedule, and some of our biggest disappointments and waste of time while in destination are worrying about or trying to get a reservation. Is it perfect, no but we definitely prefer this model!
The large water park is off to the back of the property, a little bit out of the way which isn’t abnormal in these types of resorts! There is a bowling alley, escape rooms, laser tag, climbing walls (extra charges) making it a multi-generational option. The multiple pools with the offer of adults only add to this allure. The calm man made beaches make for clean swimming easy, albeit not natural which obviously has its pros and cons!
The Hard Rock to us, is heavy on Americanism and tends to be the vast majority of guests, which may or may not be what you are looking for and may or may not be worth the premium price tag for the adult rate, but The resort does often offer great kids rates and maybe a fit for you!! Also be aware of the high pressure time share, they do make it sound nice but I assure you, it’s not geared towards Canadians and is expensive.
We don’t think it would be a place for our family, as the high energy American theme, unnatural beaches and pricey tag lead us to different options. Will I ever come back? At the right price, yes!
